It's been about a year since we changed the site, so it is about time that it happens. With feedback from the members and adding the new forums, it was time for a change. So here you will see more recent update as well as a more accessible webpage (many had problems with the Flash used on the older site)

New Home for the Pirates!
September of 2007 sees the club move to its new home: Myth Games. Located at #4 3434 34th AVE NE.
A Little Bit about the Pirates:
We are a group of avid role players located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. We play several "Living Campaigns" such as Living Greyhawk, Living Arcanis and soon, Living Forgotten Realms!
"What is a Living Campaign?"- First and foremost, we are not a LARP group. A "Living" Campaign means the worlds that we play in are shaped by our members. The modules that are written, the characters that are played, all can influence the worlds we inhabit. Most campaigns are run by volunteers. All modules are written by the players themselves. So the worlds move the direction we want them too. That is what a "Living" Campaign is.
Pirates hijack CalCon with 7 events!
We are happy to be asked to showcase the RPGA at Calgary's largetst gaming convention, CalCon on March 27, 28 and 29, 2009. We will be hosting 7 slots of adventures! We even break into the new level 7-10 adventures! Fear not if your characters are not yet high enough! We will replay several level 1-4 and level 4-7 adventures to keep you busy.
CalCon admission for the weekend is $40.00 ($25.00 for judges!) and each slot will cost an additional $2.00. There is a prize for each table courtesy of Myth Games.

Pirates invade WoW
The Pirates of the Plains have gone digital! We have our guild on the Velen server of the World of Warcraft. Our horde server is Rune Totem. If you are interested in joining us online we are in a fantastic guild named "Scarlet Dragons"
