Welcome to The Pirates of the Plains Fellowship

We are a group of avid role players located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. We play several "Living Campaigns" such as Living Forgotten Realms, Shattered Empires and more.

"What is a Living Campaign?"- First and foremost, we are not a LARP group. A "Living" Campaign means the worlds that we play in are shaped by our members. The modules that are written, the characters that are played, all can influence the worlds we inhabit. Most campaigns are run by volunteers. All modules are written by the players themselves. So the worlds move the direction we want them too. That is what a "Living" Campaign is.

We play on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Our gaming sessions are broken up into two "slots". Our first slot begins at 10:00am and our second slot begins at 3:00pm. Each adventure takes approximatley 4 hours with 30 minutes given to set up and finish notations at the end. Sometimes we run a "double-rounder" which takes between six to eight hours. These will be noted as "Part 1" and "Part 2" on our registration site Warhorn.

We always accept new players and run low level games to ensure they have something to play. Characters begin at 1st level using standard 4th Edition character creation rules. (Refer to the PHB or Essentials handbook)

We play up in the NE of Calgary at our FLGS Myth Games. The club charges $2.50 per slot (your first day is Free!) or we have a yearly membership for $40.00. If you attend Myth-a-Con we reduce this price to $20.00. These charges help cover costs of printing and DM rewards.
